Santa's Sundering (5e one-shot adventure)

STORY SYNOPSIS

It is the most important day in the North Pole: the Winding of the Yuletide Tower! Most elves are off of work early to gather in the town square and watch the yearly display of lights emanate from the Tower’s clock - a dazzling stream of aurora borealis as time itself slows down in preparation for Christmas deliveries.

The mood is joyful - until nothing happens. Seconds tick away unexpectedly and a small party of early arrivals, standing at the edge of the crowd notice a small figure run into an alley. In its hands is familiar blue glow known to all elves: the Yuletide itself.

Whether they like it or not - it is now up to them to discover who’s responsible for stealing the Yuletide and canceling Christmas.

A party of adventurous elves, an arrogant reindeer, a mischievous key-stealer, a robotic Santa - Santa's Sundering is a one-shot Christmas adventure designed for families, friends, and D&D parties who want to try something new for the holidays. Expect 26 pages of story, encounters, and items designed specifically for Christmas elf hijinks.

With simple beginner friendly class choices such as "Journalist" or "Tinkerer", even non-D&D players can get quickly introduced to mechanics, spellcasting, and role-playing. Then jump straight into solving the mystery of the stolen Yuletide.

Santa's Sundering is low on combat intentionally - but players and GMs can still expect a variety of encounters depending on how players approach the mystery.
